Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking any of our experiences.

1. Service Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by MALA MARA d.o.o. (OIB: 73513268101, MBS: 060344976), based in Dubrovnik, Croatia. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Our services include boat tours, jet ski rental and safaris, buggy tours, and boat rentals operating in and around Dubrovnik, Croatia.

2. Booking & Payment

To secure your booking, a deposit of €30 per person is required at the time of reservation. This deposit is processed securely via Stripe.

The remaining balance is due on the day of the experience, payable in cash or by card at our meeting point. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.

All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust pricing; however, any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price quoted at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund of your deposit.
  • 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% of the deposit is charged; the remainder is refunded.
  • Less than 24 hours before departure or no-show: The full deposit is non-refundable.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

4. Weather Cancellations

Your safety is our priority. If weather or sea conditions make it unsafe to operate, we will cancel or postpone the experience. This decision is made solely by the operator or skipper and is final.

In the event of a weather cancellation, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date at no extra cost.

5. Safety & Liability

All guests must follow the instructions of the crew and tour guides at all times. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in the experience being terminated without refund.

By participating, you acknowledge that water-based and adventure activities carry inherent risks. MALA MARA d.o.o. maintains all required insurance and safety certifications, but is not liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
  • Pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed prior to the activity

Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused participation without refund.

6. Age Requirements

  • Boat tours and boat rentals: Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Jet ski: Participants must be at least 16 years old and accompanied by an adult (18+). A valid ID may be requested.
  • Buggy tours: Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driving licence. Passengers must be accompanied by an adult.

7. What to Bring & What's Provided

We provide:

  • Life jackets and required safety equipment
  • Snorkelling gear (where included in the tour)
  • Towels, drinks, and snacks (where listed in the tour description)
  • A professional skipper or guide

We recommend you bring:

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • A hat and light clothing
  • Swimwear and a change of clothes
  • A waterproof bag or phone case for personal electronics
  • Any personal medication you may need

8. Changes to Bookings

If you need to change the date, time, or number of participants, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure. Changes are subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment.

9. Complaints

We strive to provide an exceptional experience. If something doesn't meet your expectations, please raise the issue with your skipper or guide during the experience so we can try to resolve it on the spot.

Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the experience by emailing info@malamara-dubrovnik.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
